The match began with Dominik Mysterio distracting Natalya, giving Ripley an opening to attack The Queen of Harts. This led to Ripley making quick work of the WWE veteran, attacking her ringside and planting her with a devastating Riptide to pick up the win in a short-lived match.

Rhea Ripley has ascended to the top of the food chain by defeating Charlotte Flair at WWE WrestleMania 39. She followed it up with her first successful title defense against Zelina Vega at WWE Backlash and found herself in the crosshairs of the WWE veteran Natalya.
The Queen of Harts stepped up to the Nightmare to take her title, but the night ended in embarrassment for her, as Rhea Ripley quickly dispatched her to retain her SmackDown Women’s title.
