Types of Matches

Basic Match Rules
  • There will be a best of 3 matches between 2 players.
  • Both players will be connected via PS Plus & Zoom with the host to ensure the smooth progression of the matches.
  • The player to win 2 out of 3 matches will proceed to the next level.
  • The winner’s average time of two matches will be calculated & updated on the leaderboard.
  • All players will be added to a WhatsApp group for discussion & other details.
Preliminary Match
  • Match will happen in the Beat the Clock challenge.
  • Results of all Preliminary matches will be updated on the leaderboard.
  • The 2 players with the least average time will proceed to the first semi-final round.
REDEMPTION MATCH
  • Those who fail to qualify for the 1st semi-final round will get ONE MORE MATCH in the redemption round to qualify for the 2nd semi-final.
  • The 2 players with the least time will proceed to the second semi-final round.
Semi-Final Match
  • The top two players from First Preliminary will compete in the first semifinal.
  • The top two players from Redemption Round will compete in the Second semifinal.
Final Match

Semifinal winners will compete in Finals to become become the WFE GameOn Champion.

How will the Gaming Happen ?

1. There will be an opening night zoom meeting with all Players to address the tournament once the signup process is done for the month.
2. Players will be connected via Zoom with the host. All Tournament rules will be explained to the players on the zoom meeting during their matches. SO DON’T WORRRY 🙂
3. Although the match will be a singles match between two players, the MATCH TYPE will be Triple Threat with the host present inside the match as Enforcer to ensure proper match execution.
4. The Players can begin playing the match after 2-3 minutes of checking online connections.
5. Event Matches will be streamed on WFE GameOn YouTube channel.
6. All players will be connected via Discord/WhatsApp/Zoom for tournament info, updates .
