WWE Universe is buzzing with the WWE Draft 2024 that began last week on Smackdown. Numerous Superstars have been drafted to RAW and SmackDown, and some of the most talented superstars from NXT are also getting their main roster call-ups.
The company is set to host their second night of the WWE Draft on the upcoming edition of Monday Night Raw and fans have already begun to speculate which superstars are going to jump ship to another brand. The EST of WWE, Bianca Belair was the first draft pick of this year’s WWE Draft making her the third woman in history to achieve that feat only behind Becky Lynch and Kelly Kelly.
Here are the possibilities for the first 4 WWE Draft picks that can happen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
1. GUNTHER Continues making history at WWE Draft 2024
The longest reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion of all time, GUNTHER, has impressed everybody, from fans and critics with his in-ring acumen, dominance, and charisma. Moreover, Gunther has earned enough recognition to be slated into the World Title picture after his historic reign as the WWE Intercontinental Champion came to its demise by Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40.
Having said that, Gunther seems like an appropriate choice for the top 4 spots on the final night of WWE Draft 2024. Possibly after being drafted to the blue brand, Smackdown, a match between Gunther and the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes for his title would be a blockbuster showdown for the audience.
2. The Kabuki Warriors to RAW
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Kairi Sane and Asuka are the only eligible champions who can be drafted in this year’s WWE Draft. It makes all the sense in the world for them to be drafted as a priority in the very first round on Monday Night RAW.
The Kabuki Warriors are set to defend their Women’s Tag Team titles against the dynamic duo of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill at WWE Backlash. Fans are expecting the duo of Cargill and Belair to dethrone the current Champions and a move to Monday Night Raw will seem like a fresh start for the dangerous Japanese duo of WWE.
3. The Prize Fighter among the top 4
The Prize Fighter, Kevin Owens is a superstar that any brand would love to have on their respective shows, being a former World Champion and having main-evented WrestleMania twice, making him an exceptional choice in the top 4 picks on night two of the WWE Draft 2024.
The former WWE Universal Champion is currently embroiled in a feud with The Bloodline on SmackDown. As they continue to stay on Smackdown after night one of the WWE Draft, it makes sense for Owens to be on the same brand to take his revenge and do a long-term storyline with them, with the first stop being at WWE Backlash where he and Randy Orton will battle against Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga.
4. The Best in the World clinches the top spot in WWE Draft
One of the biggest WWE superstars for whom both the brands would be gunning in the WWE Draft 2024 is undoubtedly CM Punk. The Best in the World is currently eligible to be drafted on the second night of the WWE Draft and both WWE main roster shows should be pulling all stops to acquire a main event attraction like CM Punk, making him an excellent choice for the top 4 spots.
CM Punk is currently involved in a feud with The Scottish Warrior, Drew McIntyre, and is expected to feud with him upon his comeback to WWE from a torn triceps injury. So it would make perfect sense to keep both stars on the same brand to have a full-fledged rivalry between the top two stars of the company.
What do you think will be the first 4 draft picks for the 4/29 edition of Monday Night Raw? Sound off in the comments.
