Yes, of course, John Cena is a free agent and can travel back and forth between WWE’s two major shows. But despite the announcement that Big Match John would be a fixture only on SmackDown, his Instagram seems to highlight Cena’s insertion and much bigger role in an ongoing rivalry on Monday Night RAW.
Why Is John Cena’s Latest Instagram Post Awesome?
WWE Universe recently saw John Cena making his triumphant return to WWE programming, taking an extended break from his Hollywood commitments. Moreover, this time, fans saw a new side of the 16-time World Champion, when Cena hosted WWE Payback this past week, taking up a role he had never done before.

Furthermore, John Cena found himself inserted in the ongoing feud between the A-lister, The Miz, and the Megastar LA Knight, serving as the special guest referee for their bout at WWE Payback. Moreover, The Miz’s frustrations with Cena and losing at WWE’s PLE were pretty much evident the next night on RAW.
He mocked John Cena for his long-standing invisibility gag by pretending to be sharing the space with the hollow man and putting him down on the mat. But did that shot trigger John’s next move?
He took to his mysterious Instagram to share a picture of The Miz hitting an invisible Cena with his finisher, the Skull Crushing Finale. John Cena and The Miz have a storied history and it seems like the WWE Universe could be in to witness a major nostalgic act, combined with the rising star power of L-A-Knight Yeah!!!!
What Is Next On John Cena’s Agenda?
John Cena is currently slated to appear next for the WWE Superstar Spectacle event in India on 8th September 2023. The 16-time WWE Champion will team up with the current World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to square off against the team of Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci representing The Imperium.

Following his return from the land of India, John Cena would be a regular on Friday Night SmackDown going forward. However, with the events that transpired recently, it could mean that the Cenation Leader would become a major asset to the LA Knight-The Miz rivalry going forward.
