Cody Rhodes has gone from being undesirable to undeniable and made history at WrestleMania 40 when he dethroned The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion.
The current Undisputed WWE Champion has already become one of the best WWE Champions in the company’s history. He was recently seen reminiscing with his friends about the old days when he was vying for that opportunity.
Why did Cody Rhodes block Indie Star on social media?
Cody Rhodes was a special guest on the former WWE Superstars Matt Cardona and Brian Myers’ popular podcast ‘The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast‘. Cardona, who formerly used to be known as Zack Ryder, revealed that once he was blocked by Cody Rhodes and that too for a very bizarre reason.
While recounting several memories from their working together, Matt Cardona exposed Cody Rhodes by revealing that The American Nightmare once blocked him. Cardona stated that once he got the action figure package of the Rhodes brothers, he tweeted, posting on social media that Stardust is Cody Rhodes, which made Rhodes block Cardona. Shockingly, to this day, The American Nightmare has not followed back The Broski.
“You were portraying Stardust on WWE television but well I don’t think we’ve ever confirmed that I was playing Stardust okay well the box that which probably was the issue yeah the official package says the roads brothers and I had tweeted that out I said something along the lines of this is proof that Stardust is Cody rhods and you blocked me on social media and to this day you do not follow me whoa this you you’ve been just sitting on this for 10 years Roski trying to explain yourself well I you know I think it’s a little weird if we’re best friends that I have not even followed on social media I didn’t know that I didn’t follow you I thought I I did you would know.”
Both Matt Cardona and Cody Rhodes have come a long way since those days. Cardona has been dominating the independent circuit, and The American Nightmare has been leading the charge in the WWE. It would be interesting to see if their paths will collide again in a wrestling ring.
