While he was giving the fans one of the biggest WrestleMania matches of all time, the thought of his opportunity being taken away heavily weighed on him. The fact was evident from his reaction when he handed The Rock his chance to headline WrestleMania 40 against Roman Reigns.
“It was something … this is the best answer I can give … it was something that was extremely touching, but what was being taken away from me was so weighing on my mind that I felt negative about what was probably a positive thing being said to me.”
