Cody Rhodes recollects the memory of getting hurt at the same venue he competed Event

Cody Rhodes has been defending his championship every single opportunity he has got and that was the case in one of the recent live events where he wrestled once again. However, the venue recalled a childhood story relating to a show he attended with his father Dusty Rhodes.

Recently, The American Nightmare performed in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and recalled a fun story of himself when he attended a WCW show as an 8-year-old child. Cody Rhodes revealed that during a Brad Armstrong match, his overflowing enthusiasm led to him falling down the steps and cutting his eye open. The current WWE Undisputed Champion was taken backstage in the training room and got stitched by the local EMT.

“Sold Out in Chattanooga Fun lil’ story- when I was around 8 yrs old, my Dad brought me to this arena for WCW. During a Brad Armstrong match, I got so excited I fell down the yellow steps you see in the picture and cut my eye open. Had to go backstage (where the training room is still) and get stitched up by the local EMT! One of my favorite buildings filled with so many memories.”

Fast forward years later, Cody Rhodes has proven time and time again his love and passion for the business. Moving forward in his reign, The Prodigal Son is set to face the WWE United States Champion Logan Paul at the WWE King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
