WWE is all set to wrap up 2024 with their upcoming show, WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, which will take place this Saturday at Nassau Coliseum, Long Island, New York. The show is all set to bring nostalgia to the WWE Universe.
While the entire match card is set, superstars like Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, and many more are set to perform at the event. Moreover, legends like Jesse Ventura will be making a special appearance on the show. So that has led a buzz among the WWE Universe about whether The Rock will grace the fans with his presence at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event or not.
Will The Rock Return at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event?
The Rock made his last WWE appearance at WWE Bad Blood 2024 in October when The Final Boss shockingly returned to the company in the show’s closing moments after the main event. The match featured Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes facing The New Bloodline in a tag team match. However, since then, The Rock has been nowhere to be seen on WWE programming.
Cody Rhodes is all set to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens in a grudge match in the main event of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Rumours have been circulating in the wrestling world that The Rock will face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title at WrestleMania 41. The Final Boss could make a possible return at Saturday Night’s Main Event to stir up the conversation as part of the buildup if their match indeed will happen at The Show of Shows next year.
With WWE RAW’s debut at Netflix right around the corner and the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event set to take place in the first week of February, several big events are set to take place in the global juggernaut. This makes an eventual return of The Rock even more imminent than before. So, it would be interesting to see whether he will return at WWE Saturday Night’s Live Event.
