WWE RAW on Netflix will be the centre of discussion at the start of 2025. The longest-running weekly episodic television show in history will make its monumental move to Netflix. The historic deal will be celebrated with a Mini-WrestleMania debut show, emanating from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday, January 6th.
WWE has already announced a star-studded line-up for the RAW on Netflix debut, and more surprises may be in store for the WWE Universe as they eagerly await the highly anticipated show. Speaking of them, one name that can be at the top of the conversation to appear at the show is WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg.
Is Goldberg making a surprise appearance at WWE RAW on Netflix debut show?
Goldberg is one of the biggest legends in the world of professional wrestling. He dominated WCW like no other superstar in the 1990s and had impressive runs in WWE following that. The former WWE Universal Champion last wrestled for the company at the 2022 Elimination Chamber event against Roman Reigns.
Since then, he has not stepped back inside the squared circle. However, Goldberg made his first appearance since Elimination Chamber at the 2024 WWE Bad Blood Premium Live Event. He was sitting in the audience with his wife and son, Gage Goldberg. In a segment that followed, Goldberg was called out by World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
The Ring General’s remarks towards the WWE Hall of Famer led to him charging toward the ring, but he was stopped by the WWE officials. Following that, Goldberg also announced that he would have his last run as an in-ring competitor in 2025. With early seeds planted for a possible feud and announcing his retirement plans, Goldberg can make a surprise appearance at RAW on Netflix debut show.
Gunther could come to the ring to express his disappointment for being left out of the card for the RAW on Netflix episode. This could lead to Goldberg making his entrance and having another face-to-face confrontation with The Ring General, possibly setting the stage for a huge dream match between them at WWE’s next Premium Live Event, Royal Rumble.
With RAW’s debut on Netflix rapidly approaching, WWE could use this opportunity to add Goldberg’s star power while beginning an intriguing storyline for their upcoming events.
