WWE has found a new home for Monday Night RAW. The longest-running TV show is all set to make its debut on the streaming platform with the debut episode of WWE RAW Netflix, which will air on January 6, 2025. This event has created the buzz all over the wrestling world, equivalent to WrestleMania.
WWE has already booked a loaded show for WWE RAW’s Netflix debut. Title matches and Grudge matches have already been booked for the show. With several huge returns also expected to take place at the event, the show is set to be full of fireworks. In all of this, WWE Universe is wondering whether they will see any heel turns at the event as well, which could spice things up.
Let’s talk about three potential superstars who can turn heel at WWE RAW Netflix debut show:
1. Seth Rollins
The grand WWE RAW Netflix debut is all set to be headlined by the grudge match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk, a dream match that is years in the making. With hatred that knows no limits and resentment that could destroy anything that comes in between, the match between the two would be a heated one to look out for.
According to several rumours and betting odds, The Best in the World is expected to take a victory home on RAW’s debut episode on Netflix. This could fuel the frustration growing in Rollins, which could further lead to his heel turn on a historic night.
2. Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch has not been seen on WWE TV for the last seven months, and she has been sorely missed as her absence is severely noticeable on Monday Nights and in the Women’s Division. It is heavily rumoured that The Man will return on WWE RAW Netflix. This could set the tone for Lynch to return as a heel in the event to make an impact upon her highly anticipated return.
Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley are all set to battle it out for the WWE Women’s World Championship on the WWE RAW Netflix debut event. The Man has unfinished business with both Ripley, who defeated Lynch at WrestleMania, and Liv Morgan, who claims she has retired Becky Lynch. The Man could return in an all-new heel avatar to take her revenge and claim her spot at the top of the women’s division.
3. Bianca Belair
All the top WWE Superstars are expected to appear on the WWE RAW Netflix debut episode, but nothing has been announced for the reigning Women’s Tag Team Champions at the event. However, Bianca Belair could steal the show if WWE books her in a significant segment in the event where she ends up turning on her new tag team partner, Naomi.
Several weeks ago, one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Jade Cargill, was mysteriously attacked in the parking lot on an edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Belair could reveal herself as the person behind the attack and could also assault Naomi on the WWE RAW Netflix debut episode. This would solidify her heel turn, which could give the WWE Universe a heated rivalry, possibly culminating at WrestleMania 41.
