The WWE Netflix era is set to take over the landscape of the global juggernaut at the start of 2025. WWE RAW is set to move to Netflix with a blockbuster Premiere show planned for January 6th at the Intruit Dome in Los Angeles, California.
As the WWE RAW Netflix debut show inches closer, there are few WWE superstars who have the opportunity to win a championship while other dominant title holders have a strong possibility to lose their gold. Here are the top four WWE title changes that can happen in the WWE Netflix era:
4. Rhea Ripley has the opportunity to win the title
Rhea Ripley has been chasing the WWE Women’s World Championship and her heated rival, Liv Morgan, for almost a year now. While she came close to dethroning her on multiple occasions, Mami perhaps has one last opportunity to win back the title she had never lost in the first place.
The Eradicator is set to challenge Morgan for the WWE Women’s World title on the WWE RAW Netflix debut show. This makes her a top possibility for etching the first title change in the WWE Netflix era, with Rhea Ripley becoming the champion again.
3. LA Knight could regain his US Title
LA Knight was riding the wave of momentum as the WWE United States Champion for 100+ days. However, The Megastar’s run as champion came to a surprise end at the hands of Shinsuke Nakamura at the WWE Survivor Series Premium Live Event.
Despite the ending of his title reign, LA Knight seems to be focused on winning back the star-spangled prize from The King of Strong Style. The Megastar could be the first superstar to defeat a champion in the WWE Netflix era and become a two-time WWE United States Champion.
2. The Rock could be The One to dethrone Cody Rhodes
It has been heavily rumoured that The Rock is set to make his return on the WWE RAW Netflix debut show. This could lead to the start of The Rock Cody Rhodes rivalry that was teased on the RAW After WrestleMania XL and has been teased to be a marquee match for the upcoming WrestleMania 41, set to take place in Las Vegas in 2025.
Should the match take place at The Grandest Stage of them all, The Rock seems to be the top candidate to dethrone Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE title. This can also make The Final Boss the first new champion of the WWE Netflix era.
1. Tiffany Stratton’s coronation at the dawn of the WWE Netflix era
Tiffany Stratton has held the Money in the Bank contract since last summer and teased cashing it in on multiple occasions. Moreover, things have been right between herself and her supposed best friend, WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax.
Frustrated by the way Nia has been treating her, Stratton could choose WWE RAW’s Premiere episode on Netflix to cash in her briefcase and becoming the new WWE Women’s Champion, making her one of the top contenders to make the first title change that too, at the dawn of the WWE Netflix era.
