Tiffany Stratton won the WWE Women’s Championship on the first SmackDown of 2025 when she clocked Nia Jax with her Money in the Bank briefcase and successfully cashed in her contract to capture the championship. However, she has not defended her title at any Premium Live Event yet.
WWE is on Tiffy Time since Tiffany has won the WWE Women’s Championship. Tiffany Stratton successfully defended her WWE Women’s Title against Bayley in an excellent match a few weeks ago in the main event of an edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Still, she did not defend her title at Royal Rumble PLE, which has raised the question of whether she will defend her title at Elimination Chamber 2025.
Will Tiffany Stratton Defend Her Title at the Event?
Since Tiffany Stratton won the WWE Women’s Championship, WWE has hosted two special events: Saturday Night’s Main Event and Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. Stratton did not get to defend her title at any of these shows, which has developed some concerns about Tiffy’s title run and doubts over her title defence at any PLE.
Triple H’s strategy of booking minimal matches at the PLEs has proven to put some restrictions on the exposure that some of the title holders and titles receive. However, that might not be the case with Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Women’s Title, as she is heavily expected to defend her title at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025.
Tiffany Stratton has an ongoing rivalry with Nia Jax, which has been going on since The Buff Barbie of the WWE cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Jax to win the title, and she is heavily expected to challenge Tiffany at the event.
Furthermore, there have been rumours that WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is expected to return to the event to challenge Stratton for the title since it takes place in her hometown of Toronto and Stratus recently came back at the 2025 Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Rumble match. Therefore, it is highly expected that Tiffy will defend her title at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025.
