WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 will be emanating from Glasgow, Scotland on June 15th, 2024, with the top superstars in action to grace the OVO Hydro arena with their presence. The show is also set to feature multiple superstars from Scotland to get their huge title matches on the show like Piper Niven, and most importantly, Drew McIntyre who is going to headline the show in his match against Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Furthermore, WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 will mark the second installment of the Premium Live Event after the first one which took place in 2022. WWE Superstars have always been very vocal about their excitement about getting a chance to perform in front of a UK crowd which is infamously regarded as one of the best crowds in WWE history. However, a few superstars who stole the show at the Clash at the Castle 2022 unfortunately haven’t been booked for this year’s event.
Let us take a look at three of those superstars who won’t be performing at this year’s WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 PLE:
1. The Tribal Chief absent after being in the main event last time
The biggest name on this list who will not be performing at the second installment of WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 Premium Live Event is The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. He main evented the inaugural WWE Clash at the Castle event against Drew McIntyre and successfully retained his title in an epic clash between the two behemoths.
However, Roman Reigns has been absent from the WWE television programming after his epic historic four-year-long title reign that ended at this year’s WrestleMania at the hands of Cody Rhodes and will not be performing at the WWE Clash at the Castle PLE, much to the disappointment of fans.
2. Alexa Bliss not looking to invade WWE Clash at the Castle 2024
A top star who ruled on the WWE women’s division for years but has a higher chance of not being able to make it to the WWE Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event would be The Goddess, Alexa Bliss. She wrestled in the opening match of the last Clash at the Castle event as part of 6 women tag team match.
Moreover, Bliss has not been seen on WWE television programming since Royal Rumble 2023 where she lost to Bianca Belair in a one-on-one match. After the event, Bliss went on maternity leave. However, the former multi-time WWE Champion is heavily rumored to return to the WWE anytime now. But as of now, Bliss has not been booked on the show and fans will certainly miss her presence on the show.
3. The banger making King of the Ring
Gunther’s WWE run will go down as one of the great runs in the history of the company, starting it off with a history reign as the NXT UK World Champion, making a spectacular main roster debut and won the prestigious Intercontinental Championship in a matter of few months. Furthermore, he would go on to have a record-breaking longest WWE Intercontinental Championship run of all time which solidified Gunther as the next big thing in the company.
Fresh off the heels of winning the King of The Ring tournament, Gunther is on his career high but will unfortunately be missing WWE Clash at the Castle this year, the same event where in 2022, Gunther and Sheamus gave the WWE Universe one of the greatest matches of all time in the history of pro-wrestling.
