On this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, Gunther walked down the aisle to the ring gloating over his victory against Randy Orton last weekend in Germany, only to be interrupted by a former foe in Sami Zyan who looks to challenge The Ring General for his title at WWE Bad Blood 2024 PLE.
Sami Zayn made some very valid points in his promo against Gunther, putting emphasis on the fact that he is the only person who has been able to put away The Ring General clean when Zayn defeated Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 40 letting him know that Sami has his number. A potential match with a WrestleMania main-eventer like Sami Zayn at WWE Bad Blood 2024 PLE is exactly what Gunther’s run as champion needs to go to the next level.
