The conversation of the WrestleMania 41 Predictions have taken a new direction following the events that went down at the WWE Elimination Chamber 2025. The Premium Live Event took place in the Roger’s Centre in Toronto, Canada and one major development has been the centre of discussion in the wrestling world.

All eyes were on Cody Rhodes who had a choice to make for himself. The American Nightmare made his entrance towards the end of the show to confront The Final Boss with his answer to his offer. But as the dust settled, Rhodes was left laying in the ring covered in his own blood, and this changed the conversation of the WrestleMania 41 Predictions.
How would the WrestleMania 41 Predictions looked if Cody Rhodes accepted The Rock’s Offer?
The February 21st edition of Friday Night SmackDown saw an intense segment between The Rock and Cody Rhodes. The Final Boss had applauded Rhodes on his remarkable title reign in the last year and made him an ‘Offer of a Lifetime’ in exchange for selling his soul and becoming his champion. Rhodes had time until the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber to give his answer.
The American Nightmare came out to the ring right after John Cena won the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber match. This guaranteed him a title shot against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. Rhodes congratulated Cena on winning the match, but this was cut short with the arrival of The Rock with popular rapper Travis Scott. This was the start to stir the conversation of the WrestleMania 41 Predictions.

The Final Boss came for the answer, and Rhodes made it clear that his soul belonged to his fans and the ring, refusing him. At the very moment, The Rock gave the signal to Cena who shocked the world by hitting Rhodes with a low blow. The trio laid a beatdown on the WWE Champion and this cemented John Cena’s heel turn.
However, had Rhodes taken The Final Boss’, things would have looked very different. WWE Universe would have seen the birth of The Homelander version of Cody Rhodes becoming the “Corporate Champion” of The Rock. This would have been similar to The Rock selling out to Vince McMahon back in 1998. The American Nightmare would not have been thrown in front of another tough road to WrestleMania much like last year, although it ended in his glory.
Moreover, the WWE Universe would have possibly never witnessed John Cena’s heel turn till the end of his farewell tour. He could have ended his career as the Superhero Babyface and the world would have never got to witnessed what they are about to; John Cena going rogue.
