The ongoing family saga between the OG Bloodline and Solo Sikoa’s led new Bloodline took centre stage at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024. However, as the night concluded, it was the ending that had the WWE Universe buzzing at the sight they had witnessed right before their eyes.
Following the return of Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, he and Jimmy Uso had been outnumbered by Solo Sikoa’s squad of ruthless mercenaries. Even after Jey Uso rejoined them, it was still not enough as they suffered a huge loss to the new Bloodline in a 6-man tag team match at WWE Crown Jewel PLE. But this led to their former Honorary Uce, Sami Zayn, joining their ranks, while Solo extended his faction with the addition of Bronson Reed after they challenged the OG Bloodline to a WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series 2024.
The dynamics changed for the OG Bloodline, as their Wiseman Paul Heyman returned and brought in CM Punk as their fifth man to battle the new Bloodline inside the WarGames match. With both sides having five members each, the stage was set for one of the biggest showdowns in WWE history to take place at WWE Survivor Series 2024.
The OG and New Bloodline laid carnage and havoc inside the WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series 2024
As four members of both teams came out and were locked in their respective cages, it was Jimmy Uso and Tama Tonga who started the match for their respective sides. Winning the advantage for their team on SmackDown, the new bloodline’s Jacob Fatu joined the fray. However, following another three-minute interval, Jey Uso came to his brother’s aid and evened some odds.
Jey and Jimmy Uso combated well against them, but the entry of Bronson Reed changed the dynamics of the match. Things became even worse as The Usos found themselves at a 2-on-3 disadvantage, with Jimmy and Jey suffering the new bloodline’s wrath until it was time for the Honorary Uce, Sami Zayn, from joining the match when Roman Reigns stopped CM Punk, who wanted to enter instead.
Sami Zayn’s inclusion changed the complexion in the OG Bloodline’s favour for some time until Tonga Loa entered the multi-man match next, putting them at a disadvantage again. The new bloodline laid havoc on the OG Bloodline for the next three minutes until The Best in the World, CM Punk, rushed to the ring just as it seemed that Roman Reigns wanted to go next.
CM Punk walked into the ring without any fear of the opposition and with a toolbox in his hand. The Second City Saint began taking down the new Bloodline with his strong equalizer and shifting the tides in favour of his squad. However, Punk was taken down by Jacob Fatu, with his leader, Solo Sikoa, entering the match after three minutes. Solo Sikoa and his pack of wolves decimated the entire OG Bloodline inside the ring with power-packed moves, leaving the lifeless on the mat.
With the last three-minute interval up, it was time for the OTC Roman Reigns to enter the ring. However, Solo Sikoa locked the door to prevent Reigns from entering the match. But Reigns managed to climb the cage and into the ring, launching himself on the entire new Bloodline and getting his team back in the game again.
However, just as tensions began to boil between Roman Reigns and CM Punk, Paul Heyman came down to the ring to reason with his team and that signalled the official start of the WarGames match. Both sides, now in full force, went tooth-and-nail against each other, looking to pick up the win over each other. Moreover, the equation between Reigns and Punk was interesting in its own way as Reigns accidentally speared him at one point, but despite that, Punk saved him from getting power slammed by Bronson Reed from atop the cage.
The final seconds of the physically tormenting match saw Solo Sikoa outnumbered by the OG Bloodline, who took him down one by one with their signature moves. The final exclamation point came at the hands of Roman Reigns, who delivered a thunderous spear to Sikoa and won the WarGames for the OG Bloodline.
