However, after putting together a great match, a distraction from Dominik Mysterio cost Vega her match and gave Morgan the victory.
3. Liv Morgan vs Rhea Ripley: WWE SummerSlam 2024
Rhea Ripley made her huge return to the WWE just a few weeks before the biggest part of the summer, the WWE SummerSlam 2024 Premium Live Event, and challenged Liv Morgan for her WWE Women’s World Championship, a title that she never lost.
In what was one of the most properly story-driven matches in all of 2024 in the company, Morgan and Rhea Ripley put on a great match together, which was extremely physical but told the story revolving around their hatred for each other. The stellar showdown ended with Dominik Mysterio betraying Ripley for Morgan and helped her to retain her title.
4. Liv Morgan vs. Becky Lynch: WWE King & Queen of the Ring
After Rhea Ripley forfeited her WWE Women’s World Championship due to her shoulder injury, WWE announced a huge Battle Royal match to crown the next WWE Women’s World Champion, which came down to Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch. In the end, The Man defied all the odds to become the new WWE Women’s World Champion.
Liv Morgan challenged Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s World Championship at the WWE King & Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
