Cody Rhodes made his triumphant return to the WWE with one goal in his mind to ‘Finish his Story’, beat Roman Reigns, and to win a WWE Championship, a title that his father, Dusty Rhodes never held. Interestingly, The Prodigal Son has now revealed, who coined the name ‘Finish the Story’.

The Prodigal Son was able to clinch the title from Roman Reigns and has moved his focus to become the most profitable WWE Champion of all time.
Cody Rhodes was a special guest on the ‘The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani’ podcast where he revealed the person who came up with the name ‘Finish the Story’ that garnered immense popularity with the WWE Universe. Cody Rhodes revealed that it was Michael Cole who came up with the name for Cody’s purpose to return to the WWE.
“The first one to ever say it finish the story yeah uh I’m gonna give the credit to my main man at the desk the voice of WWE Michael Cole really.”
After winning the title at the Grandest Stage of them All, Cody Rhodes is now laser-focused on becoming a fighting champion in the WWE and is now set to face the current United States Champion Logan Paul in the main event of WWE King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event to continue his next story of a fighting champion.
