Cody Rhodes has captured the imagination of the WWE Universe and has maintained an undeniable connection with them. After jumping ship from the rival promotion AEW to WWE, The American Nightmare has caught lightning in the bottle and has cemented himself as one of the biggest superstars in the company’s history.
Rhodes has to fight through the entire Bloodline to achieve his destiny, including The Final Boss The Rock who was a thorn in the side of The American Nightmare ever since he returned to the global juggernaut. However, despite his intimidating presence, Cody revealed one member of his clan who was not afraid of The Rock.

Cody Rhodes joined the popular MMA host Ariel Helwani on his podcast, ‘The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani’ where The American Nightmare revealed that The Rock might have intimidated many people, including him, but his mother, popularly called Mama Rhodes, Michelle Reynolds, was not intimidated by the presence of The Great One.
“The Rock may intimidate so many other people hell Rock might even be able to intimidate me cannot intimidate Michelle Reynolds cannot just just not going to happen.”
The American Nightmare was able to overcome The Rock and Roman Reigns on his way to becoming the new Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania 40, celebrating the win with his family and friends, including Mama Rhodes, and is now determined to become the most profitable WWE Champion in the company’s history. Furthermore, Cody is set to defend his title against AJ Styles in an ‘I Quit’ match at WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 in one of the most highly anticipated rematches in recent memory.
