During The Prodigal Son’s appearance on the Sports Illustrated podcast, Cody Rhodes drew comparisons from the popular Michael Jackson documentary, “We Are the World” for himself and his arch-rival, Roman Reigns.

During the interview, The host and Cody Rhodes started to draw comparisons between “We Are the World” documentary and the WrestleMania 40 main event story between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Cody stated that Reigns might be the character of Lionel and Rhodes was Quincy since Quincy was trying to get the music together and similarly, The American Nightmare had his sights set on becoming the Undisputed World Champion.

“I think you got to give Roman if we’re looking at that documentary and the importance of the people in it you really, I guess you want to be Quincy, Lionel or MJ [Michael Jackson] and I want to say that maybe Roman and I shared the Lionel, the line you know or maybe he was Lionel and I was Quincy because I was trying to get the music together.”

Following his crushing defeat, Roman Reigns is yet to appear on WWE television programming. On the other hand, Cody Rhodes is riding the wave of momentum and is determined to be a fighting champion.
