Cody Rhodes has reached the pinnacle of sports entertainment as WWE’s new poster boy. Ever since he triumphed over Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 for the Undisputed WWE title in the main event, he has established himself as the face of the global juggernaut.
Cody Rhodes has a fan base that includes all age groups, including young Nightmares, teens, and even adults, who enjoy seeing him at events. This included the latest WWE Clash at the Castle show, where he borrowed a playbook from his rival, AJ Styles’ ring gear.

The Prodigal Son had been embroiled in a heated feud with The Phenomenal One ever since Styles won a No.1 contenders match to earn a title shot at Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship. Styles was unsuccessful in his attempt to win the title at WWE Backlash France. However, Styles would go on to fake his retirement to get his hands on The American Nightmare which got him another match for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE Clash at the Castle 2024.
The current Undisputed WWE Champion recently appeared on The Major Wrestling Figure podcast to promote his ‘I Quit’ match against AJ Styles. Rhodes revealed how he was quite unsure of his gear for WWE Clash at the Castle. Rhodes further explained that his designer, Sandra, has put on a hood in his gear, something that AJ Styles always carries on his gear. Rhodes questioned if he dared to wear it along with his jacket.
“I think Miss Sandra just been on a roll this will be the first time I don’t know if I’m gonna wear it over or not but she put a hood on this one for the first time that right a little but then also maybe the fact because you’re AJ Styles always with the hood and doing uh doing the business there I’m not I’m not sure if that was her uh thought behind it but uh it I don’t know if I’ll have the courage to wear to wear the hood up my my big brand guideline with those jackets and with the gear.”
The American Nightmare was once again successful in putting away The Phenomenal One, this time by making him say, ‘I Quit.’ Rhodes continues to prove himself a worthy champion and representative for the WWE and is aiming to become the most profitable WWE Champion in the company’s history.
