Cody Rhodes, the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, remains a key figure in WWE, and his rivalry with Solo Sikoa is far from over. Plans for their rematch are beginning to take shape.
Following the Bash in Berlin, Cody Rhodes is set to address Solo Sikoa on the upcoming Friday Night SmackDown. This follows Sikoa’s video announcement expressing his determination to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship, regardless of the Bash in Berlin’s outcome.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, while a rematch between Rhodes and Sikoa is confirmed, it will not occur at WWE’s next pay-per-view event, Bad Blood. The match is expected to take place later, though the exact timing is still uncertain.
“Regarding Cody and Sikoa, I’ve been told they are not scheduled for Bad Blood, but they are set for a match. The timing is unclear, but they will appear on Friday’s show to set up a match. It might even be on the first show on the USA Network, a week from Friday.”
With Crown Jewel set for early November and reports suggesting Sikoa will participate in a WarGames match at Survivor Series against a team led by Roman Reigns, it seems unlikely that the Rhodes vs. Sikoa rematch will be booked for Survivor Series.
Previously, Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa faced off in a highly anticipated match at SummerSlam, where Rhodes retained his title after Roman Reigns unexpectedly intervened, taking out Sikoa. With unresolved tension between Rhodes and Sikoa, fans eagerly await their next encounter.
As WWE builds towards this anticipated rematch, the question remains: When will Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa face off again? Will it be at Crown Jewel, or will WWE save this match for an even bigger stage?
