After delivering yet another international Premium Live Event Crown Jewel 2024, WWE is gearing up to host their annual WWE Survivor Series 2024 PLE with Wargames gimmick at Rogers Stadium in Vancouver Canada on November 30, 2024.
Both the Men’s and Women’s Wargames matches have been set, Gunther is set to defend his title against Damian Priest, and WWE has been able to generate the buzz that they needed, however, one thing that is still not clear is whether Cody Rhodes will defend his championship at WWE Survivor Series 2024 or not.
Will Cody Rhodes defend his Undisputed WWE Title at WWE Survivor Series 2024?
Cody Rhodes has managed to stay on the top as a fighting champion as he promised when he won the title from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. The American Nightmare has proven to be a workhorse champion, attending live events, RAW, SmackDown, and Premium Live Events. However, The Undisputed WWE Champion might be sitting out the Survivor Series 2024 PLE that WWE will be hosting.
WWE has been busy shaping up the card for WWE Survivor Series 2024 PLE which will be taking place this upcoming weekend. While all of the top champions have been set for the show, it is still unclear what Cody Rhodes will be doing at the show since nothing has been announced for The American Nightmare yet.
As per the rumors, The American Nightmare would not defend his Undisputed WWE Championship at the WWE Survivor Series 2024 PLE. Rhodes is set to defend his title against Kevin Owens at next month’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event PLE. The Prodigal Son has gone above and beyond to prove his worth as a fighting champion and would be perfectly fine for him to sit out Survivor Series 2024 as he will be defending his title in a few weeks at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
