WWE is gearing up to host one of their biggest shows of the year, the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event which is set to emanate from Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on 3rd August 2024. The upcoming event has already been loaded with big main event caliber matches and is set to be headlined by a match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa.
The build-up to this year’s SummerSlam event is perfect, to say the least, and WWE Universe is truly hyped to watch the spectacle this coming Saturday which will feature several huge matches much to the delight of the fans.
Let us take a look at predictions for all the matches that will take place at WWE SummerSlam 2024:
1. Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan: WWE Women’s World Title
Perhaps the most heated feud on the entire card of WWE SummerSlam 2024 with the most history between the opponents is the WWE Women’ World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan which is two years in the making. WWE Universe could expect a blockbuster match between the two ladies with Morgan retaining the title with some sort of a twist in the end.
2. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre
After months of spitting vile against each other, CM Punk will finally get his hands on Drew McIntyre at the Biggest Party of the Summer, WWE SummerSlam 2024 with Seth Rollins being the special guest referee in the match. WWE Universe could expect some interference from the Visionary, and the match might result in a no-contest.
3. Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa: Undisputed WWE Title
Solo Sikoa has been trying to take over Roman Reigns’ position as The Tribal Chief in The Bloodline and is set to face The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2024. Cody Rhodes is expected to retain his title at the event and we might see a major return at the end of the match in either The Rock or Roman Reigns.
4. Damian Priest vs. Gunther: WWE World Heavyweight Title
Even without any history with each other, Damian and Gunther have been able to put on an entertaining rivalry together in a span of a few weeks. Damian Priest has excelled as a Babyface with this feud and is expected to retain the title at Biggest Party of the Summer, WWE SummerSlam 2024 with some unexpected interference from Judgment Day.
5. Bayley vs. Nia Jax: WWE Women’s Title
The two veterans in Bayley and Nia Jax will lay it all on the line when they will face each other at WWE SummerSlam 2024 for the prestigious WWE Women’s Championship. Nia Jax has been putting on a show ever since she returned to the WWE last year and is expected to beat The Role Model for the title. However, the victory might be short-lived as Jax’sbsts friend might try to cash in her Money in the Bank contract to reach the Tiffy Top.
6. Logan Paul vs. LA Knight: US Title
One of the very few WWE superstars who have been able to keep up with their momentum despite not winning any championships in their WWE run is LA Knight. The Megastar has not won a single title in his WWE career yet, but it could change at WWE SummerSlam 2024 when he faces Logan Paul for the United States Championship. The leader of the ‘YEAH’ movement is expected to take the gold home by beating the Maverick.
7. Sami Zayn vs. Bron Breakker: InterContinental Title
Sami Zayn shocked the world when he defeated Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40 and since then has been busy feuding with the former NXT Champion, Bron Breakker. Although he successfully retained the title against Breakker at Money in the Bank, Breakker is expected to win the title at WWE SummerSlam 2024.
