Early Life & Real Name
Born on August 9, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Nikkita Lyons is WWE’s one of the most important prospects in the Women’s division. Lyons graduated from Golden Valley High School, after which she joined The Royal Irish Academy of Music and Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
One of WWE’s fastest-rising superstars, Nikkita’s real name is Faith Jefferies. After picking several names for her in-ring debut, Faith finally chose Nikkita Lyons as her name in professional wrestling.
Professional Wrestling Career
Nikkita Lyons would begin her professional wrestling career right after completing her graduation. In 2018, she started training under American Professional Wrestler Selina Major popularly known as Bambi. Later on, she would make her wrestling debut for the WOW (Women of Wrestling) promotion, where she performed under the ring name ‘Faith The Lioness’.
After performing for WOW, Nikkita Lyosn would go on to sign with WWE in 2021 in a Las Vegas tryout. Nikkita later revealed in an interview that Triple H and Samoa Joe had informed her that WWE had finally signed her.
NXT Debut
On the December 31st, 2021 episode of now-defunct 205 Live, Nikkita Lyons made her WWE debut when she faced Amari Miller in a losing effort. On 22nd February 2022, Lyons made her NXT debut, where she defeated Kayla Inlay.
WWE would put their faith in Nikkita Lyons as WWE’s Lioness would impress WWE officials with her incredible in-ring skills. Her growing popularity among WWE fans made her one of the most talked about female superstars in NXT. However, a series of unfortunate injuries halted Lyons’ push into the company.
Relationship Status
As of 2024, Nikkita Lyons has not made any of her relationships public, coming out to be a much private person when it comes to dating.
Return from Injury
Nikkita Lyons has had bad luck with injuries in her professional wrestling career so far. The talented WWE Superstar sustained a major injury while wrestling Blair Davenport, which put her out of action for well over one year after January 2023.
Nikkita Lyons returned to NXT TV after recovering from her injury in December 2023. However, Lyons suffered another injury, which was revealed in March 2024, taking her out of action again for over 6-7 months. Now, Nikkita Lyons has finally returned from the injury and has already started gunning for the NXT Women’s Championship.
