After delivering an all-timer Royal Rumble PLE, The Global Juggernaut is all set to host WWE Elimination Chamber 2025. The event will take place on March 1st, 2025, at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is set to feature several big names, including the superstar who has been on his ‘farewell tour’, John Cena.
After coming up short in the Men’s Royal Rumble match at Royal Rumble PLE, Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect has set his sights on winning the Elimination Chamber match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 to earn the right to chase his 17th World Title at WrestleMania 41. Whether or not Cena would be able to get the job done remains to be seen.
Will Winning Chamber Match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 Lead John Cena to his 17th World Title Match?
John Cena kickstarted his ‘Farewell Tour’ on WWE RAW’s debut episode on Netflix and announced that he will participate in the Men’s Royal Rumble match to earn his right to headline WrestleMania 41 for his 17th World Title. However, despite giving his best, Cena came short at the Royal Rumble PLE and failed to secure his opportunity to headline The Show of Shows, WrestleMania.
Even though John Cena could not win the Royal Rumble match, the 16-time World Champion is still determined to win his way to challenge for the World Title at WrestleMania. This led to Cena announcing his participation in the Men’s Chamber match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 during the press conference after Royal Rumble PLE.
The loss at Royal Rumble momentarily stopped Cena’s chase for his 17th World Title and the main event at WrestleMania 41. Bucking his reputation as one of the most selfless WWE Superstars of all time, Cena admitted that he needs to be in the main event of The Show of Shows this year for the business in the current landscape.
Cena stated that he wants to earn his way to get into that spot and has announced his participation in the Chamber match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, where he is expected to win his right to challenge for the World title at WrestleMania.
