WWE has locked in several high-profile matches for their upcoming Premium Live Event, WWE Bad Blood 2024, which will take place at the State Farms Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on October 5th, 2024. As the name indicates, this upcoming PLE is full of matches where there’s some very heavy bad blood between the opponents for each other.
WWE has booked several matches for Bad Blood 2024 PLE. A highly personal feud will come to an end when CM Punk collides against Drew McIntyre inside the brutal structure of Hell in a Cell. Roman Reigns is set to team up with Cody Rhodes against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Let us see what other matches can be added to the show.
1. Uncle Howdy’s PLE Debut
It has been over 3 months since the moment when Uncle Howdy and Wyatt Sicks debuted on Monday Night RAW and had WWE Universe in a chokehold. Since then, the demented faction, along with their leader has created chaos in the WWE locker room and has taken out stars like Chad Gable.
Uncle Howdy made his in-ring debut in the main event of Monday Night RAW a few weeks ago when he squared off against American Made’s Chad Gable and dominantly won the match. However, he is yet to make his PLE debut, and WWE Bad Blood 2024 would be the perfect place for Howdy to make his big debut on a major stage.
2. Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker
Jey Uso finally won a singles championship on this week’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW when he successfully knocked off Bron Breakker to capture the prestigious WWE Intercontinental Championship. With a brand new champion in the picture, a titled defense for the champion couldn’t be ignored for a big show like WWE Bad Blood 2024.
WWE has already booked a loaded show for the WWE Bad Blood 2024, and it might get a little more boost of star power if Jey Uso puts his title on the line against Bron Breakker in a rematch of their title match that happened earlier this week.
3. Kofi Kingston vs. Xavier Woods
The New Day is regarded as one of the greatest tag teams in the history of professional wrestling. The team, which consisted of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods dominated the tag titles scene in the WWE from 2014-2020. However, with the brewing tensions in between, the alliance might finally end.
New Day is an extremely beloved stable by WWE fans. WWE Universe has always adored the trio and would hate to see them break up. But with Big E out of the scene since 2022 due to an injury, it seems like growing tension between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods might lead to a breakup of the team which could lead to a match between the two at WWE Bad Blood 2024.
4. LA Knight vs. Carmelo Hayes
Carmelo Hayes and Andrade have been garnering a lot of appreciation from WWE fans and WWE officials for the series of matches that they have put together in the last few weeks. Now, with the United States Champion LA Knight involved in the storyline, it could give WWE Bad Blood 2024 a US Title match.
On last week’s Friday Night SmackDown, Andrade failed to capture the US title from LA Knight. Now, with Andrade out of the picture, Carmelo Hayes could challenge LA Knight for the WWE United States title at WWE Bad Blood 2024 PLE.
