The WrestleVerse Fest is the new wave of entertainment that is coming for the WWE fans in India. It is a unique fan engagement event for the fans who stay in India and have nothing but television programming to enjoy their fandom. But WrestleVerse takes their fandom to the next level with its unique event concept.

The concept was started in India by Wrestlefanent, which has seen top WWE superstars like Rob Van Dam, Mickie James, The Great Khali, and Maria Kanellis make appearances. However, the intriguing question is whether the concept has been supported by India’s renowned investor and Shark Tank India judge, Mr. Anupam Mittal.
Did Anupam Mittal support the WrestleVerse Fest event concept?
The first edition of the WrestleVerse Fest took place in New Delhi, India in 2022 at Monkey Bar by Wrestlefanent. It was an exciting event for WWE fans to have various fan engagement activations, like gaming and trivia competitions for championship belts, trump card tables, entrance areas, drinking challenge counters and more.
Moreover, the first edition also saw the appearance of WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam online, with two lucky fans getting to have a chance to interact with them. Also, the event was graced with the presence of former WWE superstar Jeet Rama for a live meet-and-greet and autograph signing session.
The second edition of the WrestleVerse Fest took place in 2023 in Logix Mall, Noida, which featured similar activations and more crowd than the first edition. This time, there was a display of in-ring action by trained professional athletes of Wrestle Square.
Witnessing the success of both events, Wrestlefanent decided to submit the idea of the WrestleVerse Fest to be produced on a large scale in a Grant competition titled ‘Dream Deal.me.’ This competition was organized by Shark Tank India fame and renowned investor Mr. Anupam Mittal and saw many entries in the competition, pitching their unique ideas for a grant to take their vision forward.
After multiple rounds of analysis and review by Anupam Mittal’s team, Wrestlefanent managed to bag third place in the Dream Deal competition. As a result of their victory, the team, alongside other winners, got a chance to interact with Mr. Anupam Mittal via an online meeting. He was highly impressed with the idea presented and shared his insights on how to take it to a much bigger scale to build a good business.
With the support of renowned investor like Anupam Mittal and endorsed by top WWE legends like The Great Khali and Rob Van Dam, Wrestlefanent is actively working on scaling the concept. So it remains to be seen if the concept can be produced for India to bring a huge change in the entertainment industry of the country.
