Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch and became the new WWE Women’s World Champion at the WWE King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event back in May. Since then, Morgan has been the pinnacle of the division. The current Women’s World Champion made history at WWE Crown Jewel 2024 when she became the first-ever WWE Crown Jewel Women’s Champion.
WWE Universe has witnessed a long-standing rivalry between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan over the WWE Women’s World Championship. Ripley has tried to take the title away from Morgan on different occasions but with failed attempts. Recently, Morgan and Rodriguez would put Ripey away on an edition of NXT after brutally attacking the Eradicator in the parking lot, leaving fans wondering who will challenge Liv for the title next.
Who Will Challenge Liv Morgan For Women’s World Title At WWE Survivor Series PLE?
After successfully delivering WWE Crown Jewel 2024 and crowning the first-ever WWE Crown Jewel Men’s and Women’s Champions, WWE is all set to host Survivor Series Wargames PLE in Canada on November 30, 2024. It looks like we have finally got our first match for the grand spectacle.
WWE hosted an edition of Monday Night RAW from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the very first time in history, and the show kicked off with a Battle Royale to crown the No.1 contender for Liv Morgan’s WWE Women’s World Championship. Several women from the red brand stepped up to the challenge to earn the right to fight Morgan for the title, but in the end, only one woman survived to claim her spot in the business.
After an extremely entertaining Battle Royale match featuring the likes of Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Natalya, and many more, in the end, it came down to Lyra Valkyira and Iyo Sky who would go on to put a barnburner together, however, a Suplex from The Genius of the Sky would turn the lights out for Lyra, making Iyo Sky the No.1 contender for the WWE Women’s World Championship. Iyo Sky is expected to challenge Liv Morgan for the title at WWE Survivor Series PLE.
