Liv Morgan hit the final nail in the coffin at WWE SummerSlam 2024 when the Dirty Dom turned on Rhea Ripley to join forces with the current WWE Women’s World Champion and helped her retain her championship. Morgan has done what she set out to do: to take everything Rhea Ripley loved away from her.
After a great back-and-forth match to open WWE SummerSlam 2024, Liv Morgan retained her WWE Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley when Dominik passed a chair in the ring, only for Ripley to eat an oblivion on the chair to get the job done for Liv Morgan, seemingly marking the end of Judgment Day.
Let us take a look at all the things that Liv Morgan has taken from Rhea Ripley that she loved:
1. Took Mami’s Championship
`Liv Morgan took out Rhea Ripley after a vicious assault backstage on an episode of Monday Night RAW after WrestleMania 40 which forced Mami to vacate her WWE Women’s World Championship at a record 379 days.
Later, Becky Lynch would win a Battle Royal to win the WWE Women’s World Championship. The Man would put her title on the line against Liv Morgan at WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE where Morgan beats Lynch to win the title that Rhea Ripley never lost.
2. Stealing Ripley’s Latino Heat
Liv Morgan returned to the WWE at Royal Rumble PLE 2024 intending to take everything away from The Eradicator. After taking her title away, Morgan set her eyes on Ripley’s man, Dominik Mysterio, and was seen trying to seduce him on several episodes of Monday Night RAW.
After months of chasing Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan was successful in her endeavors as seen on last weekend’s Ple, WWE SummerSlam 2024 where Dominik Mysterio betrayed Rhea Ripley and joined forces with Liv Morgan, sealing the deal with a kiss in front of Mami.
3. Destruction of Judgment Day
As noted by Michael Cole after Finn Balor cost Damian Priest his World Heavyweight Title, SummerSlam 2024 will be remembered for the ‘Implosion of Judgment Day’, as earlier in the event Dominik turned on Rhea Ripley, and the interesting observation is that Liv Morgan could be the reason behind both betrayals.
Dominik Mysterio betrayed Rheas Ripley for Liv Morgan which was witnessed by WWE Universe in the climax of the WWE Women’s World Championship match at WWE SummerSlam 2024. However, a few weeks ago, Balor was seen stealing Morgan’s Hotel room keys and was also aligned with The Miracle Kid before joining Judgment Day which further indicated a potential alliance between the two.
