Uncle Howdy and Wyatt Sicks sent the entire WWE Universe into a frenzy when the wicked stable made their much-awaited debut on the WWE television programming on the June 17th, 2024, edition of Monday Night RAW and made a major statement on their first night.
After putting several WWE Superstars like Chad Gable on notice, Uncle Howdy and Wyatt Sicks made some appearances on the following editions of Monday Night RAW, where Nikki Cross was seen passing VHS tapes to Michael Cole, which contained interactions between Bo Dallas and his alter ego, Uncle Howdy.
As we all know, Bo Dallas is donning Uncle Howdy’s character and has already curated a pretty successful career for himself in the past. Bo Dallas has several excellent matches in his pocket, which has made him extremely popular in the WWE Universe. Let us take a look at the top three matches of Bo Dallas’ career before he became the Demon:
1. The B-Team VS. Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt
Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt joined forces together after WrestleMania 34 and pulled the miracle when the duo captured the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships. Since aligning, the duo were undefeated until they met the B-Team at WWE Extreme Rules 2018.
Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel’s triumphant duo aimed to capture the Tag Team titles from Woken Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt when they challenged the duo at Extreme Rules 2018. A match that started with shenanigans escalated into a great method wrestling clinic, which became one of the show’s highlights when Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel captured the championships at the end.
2. Bo Dallas went up against The Swiss Superman
Bo Dallas was a whole different superstar in WWE’s developmental territory, NXT, where he was putting on classics and even defeating the main roster talents to retain his championship. After putting his championship on the line against some of the best talent that NXT had to offer, The Swiss Superman Cesaro challenged Bo Dallas for his Championship. What followed was an instant classic.
NXT was putting on some of the greatest matches in professional wrestling back when the brand delivered another gem in Cesaro vs. Bo Dallas for the NXT Championship. Even though Leo Krueger getting onto the ropes ended up leading to the finish here, that didn’t stop this being an epic NXT Championship match.
3. Uncle Howdy’s first major championship
It was the fateful night when Bo Dallas finally achieved his childhood dreams of winning a World title when he arguably wrestled the best career match. Bo Dallas was up against a significantly dominating Champion in Big E when he looked to capture the first World title of his career.
The crowd was hooked to the match from the beginning, and it was when the challenger outsmarted the champion, slammed Big E’s head into the exposed turnbuckle, and later hit his finisher to win the NXT Championship. The match was heavily praised by the fans and critics, and Dallas held the title for an impressive 280 days.
