Roman Reigns is arguably the biggest franchise star of the WWE in the modern era. The Original Tribal Chief made his stupendous return to the global juggernaut just a few weeks ago at WWE SummerSlam 2024 after a long hiatus post losing his Undisputed WWE championship to Cody Rhodes.
Being the biggest star of the biggest wrestling promotion in the world comes with its own perks, one of them being to get huge offers from Hollywood. Roman Reigns is no stranger to the big screen as he has been part of several Hollywood projects in the past and has been shooting for a big-budget movie that will be released soon.
All the Appearances of The Tribal Chief on The Silver Screen
WWE Universe heavily expects Roman Reigns to slowly transition to the big screen in the future, but this is not the first time that the former Undisputed WWE Champion has shown his talent on the silver screen. Roman has made several appearances on the big screen dating back to 2016 when he appeared in the WWE franchise movie, Countdown.
The Original Tribal Chief then got a huge movie in his pocket as Roman then appeared in the Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, playing Mateo Hobbs alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The Head of the Table just started to make it big on the silver screen when he appeared in the Netflix original comedy film The Wrong Missy, and then Reigns did the voice-over for the animated sports comedy film, Rumble in 2021.
After losing his Undisputed WWE Championship to The American Nightmare in the main event of WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns began to shoot for the upcoming big-budget heist-style comedy movie ‘Good Fortune‘ which will also feature stars like Keanu Reeves, Keke Palmer, and Sandra Oh, which will be directed by Aziz Ansari.
