Possible Direction For CM Punk Upon His Return
Since Royal Rumble PLE this past year, CM Punk has been embroiled in a blood feud with Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior made it pretty evident that he was not happy with Punk’s return to the WWE, the duo later battled each other on three different occasions, and the feud culminated in a brutal Hell in a Cell match at WWE Bad Blood 2024.
CM Punk and Drew McIntyre delivered a Match of the Year contender match inside the barbaric structure of Hell in a Cell. On the Monday Night RAW after Bad Blood, The Best in the World would make an appearance at the event confirming to the fans that he will need some time to heal from the injuries he suffered in the match against McIntyre.
Now that Punk has settled the score with The Scottish Psychopath, WWE fans are wondering what is next for the Second City Saint in the company. As per several reports, CM Punk is scheduled to face Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a dream match at WWE Survivor Series PLE. Whether this match happens or not, remains to be seen, however, this will surely be a blockbuster showdown for an event like WWE Survivor Series PLE.
