It was the success of The Man that caught Valkyria’s attention, inspiring her to fight for her dreams, and now those dreams have become a reality as Lyra is one of the most promising names in the WWE today. However, just one year into her main roster career, Valkyria has been learning the nature of this business the hard way.

Valkyria formed a makeshift team with Bayley to take down Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to win the WWE Women’s Tag Titles, only for Bayley to be mysteriously attacked by someone just a day before their big match. Now, who attacked Bayley is a question for another day. Later on, Lyra Valkyria would find help in one of the biggest names in this business, who would come and win the titles with her.
Becky Lynch made her highly anticipated return to the WWE as Lyra Valkyria’s tag team partner for the Tag Title match against Morgan and Rodriguez. Lynch’s return would shock Morgan. The duo of Valkyria and Lynch went on to win the Tag Titles. However, their tag title run did not go the way most fans thought it would.

Becky and Lyra defended their Tag Titles in a WrestleMania rematch against Liv and Raquel. The fierce opponents got the better of Valkyria and Lynch and won the titles again. However, it was what happened after their loss that shocked the fans to the core, when Becky turned heel on the woman who had considered her their hero and idol.
As previously mentioned, Lyra Valkyria is learning the business the hard way, and this time, the lesson came in the form of a betrayal from someone close to her, like a sister. Lyra is expected to defend her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch, which could happen as early as Backlash next month, to prove that she belongs in the big leagues like The Man.
