Fresh off the heels of the major success of WWE SummerSlam 2024, WWE is riding a wave of momentum after delivering an event that far exceeded the expectations of the WWE Universe. The show, which was filled with incredible matches, and shocking moments will certainly be remembered for the ‘Implosion of Judgment Day’ as noted by Michael Cole.
Amidst the mega return of the Original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, and Gunther winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, one moment that stood out the most was Liv Morgan retaining the WWE Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio betraying Rhea Ripley, confirming his alliance with Liv Morgan.
Liv Morgan Saved By Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW 8/5/24
WWE brought this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW from CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The event saw the aftermath of WWE SummerSlam 2024 where Finn Balor explained his actions at WWE SummerSlam 2024.
In the segment, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan came to the ring to attack Damian Priest and then Mami came to save the former World Champion. Rhea Ripley would then go after Liv Morgan, and it appeared that Mami would have put Morgan through the announcers’ table but Dirty Dom made the save for Liv Morgan at the end. However, later Ripley and Priest took out JD McDonagh to make a statement.
This Liv Morgan-Rhea Ripley feud has been getting interesting with every twist and turn, and things are not looking to slow down anytime soon. With the implosion of Judgment Day, it would be interesting to see how the Liv-Rhea feud will shape in the future.
