It was as if the air had been sucked out of the building for both the WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio when Rhea Ripley made her triumphant return to the WWE television Programming in the final moments of WWE Monday Night RAW when it looked that the Dirty Dom and Liv Morgan were about to share a steamy moment in the middle of the ring.
The hatred between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley dates back to 2022, and the bad blood between the two has grown to an absolute limit where they both want to tear each other’s life apart. Liv Morgan returned to the WWE in the Women’s Royal Rumble match with an all-new attitude and mindset while focusing on ruining and eradicating The Eradicator’s life when she kickstarted her ‘Liv Morgan Revenge Tour‘.
But how we even got there is the question that might be circulating in the minds of the fans who might not have watched the show two years ago. So, let us take a look at the history between The Miracle Kid and Mami.
What is the history between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley?
Now, WWE Universe witnesses Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley as two women who are filled with genuine hatred for each other. However, that was not always the case. Liv Morgan was a hard-working, very endearing, and bubbly girl who was deprived of opportunities but whom fans wanted to see succeed big time. Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley had just made her main roster debut a few months ago and was laser-focused on becoming the division’s star.
En route to the most spectacular WrestleMania of all time, WrestleMania 38, the unlikely duo of Morgan and Ripley, with extremely different personalities, would become an odd couple with whom WWE Universe fell in love. Both had the same goal: to become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, after several failed attempts, The Eradicator would turn on her tag partner and beat her down, blaming her for their loss even though Ripley ate the pin in the title match.
Rhea Ripley would then join Judgment Day to turn to the darker sides. Ripley and Morgan cross paths again when they travel the distance by coming at #1 and #2 respectively, but Ripley would eliminate Morgan to win the whole thing. Mami cost Liv Morgan her Tag Titles when she injured her tag team partner. She then went on to put Morgan on the shelf for months after injuring her shoulder with a steel chair.
Liv Morgan reached her breaking point after getting screwed time and time again by Rhea Ripley and decided to return with a vengeance to ruin Ripley’s career in the WWE. Morgan would make her much-awaited return at Royal Rumble, kickstarting the ‘Liv Morgan Revenge Tour’, culminating when she takes everything Rhea Ripley loved away from her.
