Liv Morgan Accepts Rhea Ripley’s Challenge for WWE Women’s World Title After RAW Confrontation

Liv Morgan

The September 2 episode of Monday Night RAW, following WWE’s Bash in Berlin, was a captivating event, especially with Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest energizing the Denver crowd with their presence.

After their successful mixed tag team match in Berlin, Ripley commended both herself and Priest for their strong performance, particularly highlighting her pinfall victory over Liv Morgan. She expressed her intent to reclaim the WWE Women’s World title from Morgan.

As Ripley was about to address Morgan, Dominik Mysterio appeared with a noticeable black eye, struggling to make himself heard over the crowd’s boos. Dominik informed the audience that Liv Morgan was still recovering from their Berlin encounter and would not be present on RAW that night, but assured fans that Morgan would eventually accept Ripley’s challenge.

Contrary to Dominik’s statements, Liv Morgan unexpectedly appeared and charged into the ring. Although Ripley initially countered her attack, the segment ended with Morgan and Dominik retreating into the crowd, leaving Ripley with a knee injury, as she was later seen backstage using a crutch.

Additionally, a video released by WWE on Instagram showed Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio returning to the backstage area. Morgan accepted Ripley’s challenge at that moment but questioned whether Ripley would be able to make it to their match, boasting about injuring Rhea moments earlier.

“What a way to celebrate 100 days as WWE Women’s World Champion, and by the way, I accept the challenge. Let’s see if you can make it.”

Morgan declared

With Liv Morgan accepting Rhea Ripley’s challenge for a rematch, anticipation builds as fans await the event that will host this intense showdown between the fierce rivals.
