All Elite Wrestling (AEW) made major headlines worldwide when it first burst on the scene in 2019. One supremely talented performer AEW could grab in the early days of its career was Jade Cargill, who went on to become a major star in the company. However, AEW didn’t fully capitalize on her potential, as Jade Cargill signed with WWE in 2023 upon her release from AEW.

1. A date with the Dentist
Dr Britt Baker, D.M.D, is one of the biggest names on the AEW roster and has achieved many milestones in the company. Baker is the dream match for any female wrestler who aims to wrestle in AEW. However, AEW failed to put one of the biggest women’s matches that they could have done on their roster.
Britt Baker and Jade Cargill were undoubtedly the key players of the Women’s division in AEW. They had the fans, skills, and charisma to run the company on their shoulders. A match between The Doctor and The Storm was inevitable in the company, yet AEW never pulled the trigger before Cargill’s exit.
2. A showdown with Saraya
AEW made major headlines in the wrestling industry when they were able to sign one of the biggest female wrestlers ever, Saraya Knight, who was widely known to fans as Paige. She won the WWE Divas Championship on her debut night on Monday Night RAW and was a trailblazer for the Women’s Revolution that changed the wrestling business forever.
AEW made a lot of noise about capturing Saraya after her WWE exit, and fans had several dream matches lined up for the former Divas Champion. One of them against then-TBS Champion Jade Cargill. Cargill left AEW sometime after Saraya’s debut, which robbed fans of this eventual dream clash between the two.
3. A Clash with the CEO
Mercedes Mone is one of the most prominent female wrestlers of all time. She is the current AEW TBS Champion and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion. She made her name in the wrestling world as Sasha Banks in the WWE and shocked the world when she signed on the dotted line with AEW and made her debut this past summer.
Jade Cargill left AEW after her contract expired last year. A match with the CEO could put any wrestler’s career on the map, and a match between Jade Cargill and Mercedes Mone would have benefitted Cargill’s young career and would have been a massive success for AEW.
