Lyra Valkyria is slowly finding her footing on the main roster. Valkyria, who made her main roster debut as part of WWE Draft 2024, has already garnered a lot of success within just one year of her career on the main roster and is bound to have a bright future in the company.

The Man, Becky Lynch, has not been seen in WWE programming for the last 10 months. Her last appearance came in a steel cage match against Liv Morgan in May 2024. Since The Man is nowhere to be seen, WWE fans have begun to wonder if Lyra Valkyria is well on her way to replacing her fellow native on the roster, considering their rich history together.
Is Lyra Valkyria the New Becky Lynch After The Man Stepped Away From WWE?
There’s almost nothing that Becky Lynch has not accomplished in her WWE career that is left for The Man to accomplish. Lynch is a WrestleMania main eventer, a multi-time Women’s Champion, and a Royal Rumble winner. There’s practically no one who can replace Big Time Becks, but it looks like her fellow Dublin native, Lyra Valkyria, is somebody who could fill her shoes in her absence.
Becky Lynch has gone on record praising Lyra Valkyria while stating Valkyria has untapped potential and is the one to watch for the future. Lynch went on to put over Valkyria big time when she lost her NXT Women’s Title to her in 2023. Now, fans have begun to wonder if Valkyria has what it takes to be the next Becky Lynch in her absence.

Lyra Valkyria has made a lot of history in her own right. Valkyria became the first-ever WWE Intercontinental Champion when she defeated Dakota Kai in January. Valkyria has earned the respect of fans and critics with her incredible in-ring showings on Monday Night RAW and is a former NXT Women’s Champion. Valkyria is heavily touted as one to lead the charge of the women’s division in the future.
While Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch have several similarities and will probably be linked, it would be unfair to Valkyria for fans to think that she could be the next Becky Lynch because she’s credible enough to carve her own legacy and be the first Lyra Valkyria. Furthermore, Becky Lynch is in a league of her own, and no one is expected to be able to replicate the success that she has achieved in her WWE career.
