Cody Rhodes has become one of the biggest babyfaces in the history of the WWE. After claiming his throne at WrestleMania 40 where he beat Roman Reigns to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion, Rhodes finds himself leading the global juggernaut into a new era with multiple options to explore.

Furthermore, The American Nightmare is establishing himself as a fighting champion of the WWE Universe. The Prodigal Son outlasted The Phenomenal AJ Styles in a dream showdown at WWE Backlash France and also successfully defended his title on the following PLE, WWE King and Queen of the Ring against Logan Paul.

What did Cody Rhodes think about Logan Paul not putting his title on the line?

The Maverick challenged The American Nightmare for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Moreover, the WWE Universe was expecting the match to be a Title vs. Title match since Logan Paul currently holds the WWE United States Championship, one title that Rhodes needs to win to become Grand Slam Champion. However, when The American Nightmare proposed the idea, Logan withdrew himself from the match.

Recently, Cody Rhodes joined Bully Ray and Dave LaGreca on their podcast, Busted Open Radio where Cody Rhodes shared his sentiments over Logan Paul refusing to put his title on the line against him. The current Undisputed WWE Champion noted that he understood the frustration but he sitting on the top of the pyramid for WWE with the most prestigious title was the reason that he was not bothered by Logan Paul’s decision to not put up his title on the line as well.

“I think anybody would be frustrated because we’re all chasing titles, we’re all chasing accolades but I’m this this is the top of the pyramid for WWE just objectively this is what sits at the top and everything else is is is beneath it and uh Logan not taking his title out of the equation did not make me near as mad as it would have had this not been uh the prize on the line and again the Grand Slam Championship eludes me.”

The American Nightmare successfully retained his Undisputed WWE Championship in a fast-paced thrilling match in the main event of WWE King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event. Intending to be the most profitable champion that WWE has ever seen, Cody Rhodes is working his way to cement himself as one of the greatest WWE Champions in history.
