However, now that Cody Rhodes has finally accomplished his dreams of further cementing himself as the greatest of all time, he has been counted as one of the greatest ever to lace a pair of wrestling boots. Recently, discussing his wrestling career, Rhdoes spoke about that pivotal moment that changed everything in his life.
What pivot moment changed everything in Cody Rhodes’ life?
Cody Rhodes was a special guest on ‘The Pivot Podcast.‘ While speaking with the podcast hosts, The American Nightmare touched upon that moment, which turned out to be one of the most pivotal moments in his life.
Rhodes revealed that the one moment that changed his life forever was the day when his daughter, Liberty, was born. The current Undisputed WWE Champion stated that when his daughter was born, despite being in the professional wrestling business where politicking is standard, he did not want to play dirty and wanted to be the perfect father for his daughter.
“I have the 100% the defining the pivot moment my daughter being born 100% I am in a shark-infested wrestling business where there’s a natural bit of backstabbing there’s a natural bit of politicking all this I didn’t have a lot of issues kind of Crossing Lines pre her birth I I felt like not play dirty but I could I could Slug It Out with you if we needed to I could spot it and see it when she was born I mean I didn’t even want to curse I didn’t even want to like I just know that’s my one opportunity to be you know we can never be perfect but be perfect you know be we can bat we can bat a thousand if I just do everything right by her I’ve probably already failed a bazillion times in these efforts uh just because being a a father as it’s difficult and you don’t know any of the challenges that are coming you can read the books and all that but the challenges are always different and specific but her her being born changed everything.“
Cody Rhodes has been working his way to become the most inspiring personality for his daughter and aims to be the best champion in the WWE. Speaking of his championship reign, The American Nightmare is set to face Solo Sikoa at WWE SummerSlam 2024 in the show’s main event.
