The American Nightmare has become a locker-room leader for his peers and younger WWE Superstars, and recently, Rhodes discussed WWE legend The Undertaker’s importance as a locker-room leader.

Why did Cody Rhodes call The Undertaker a locker room leader?

Cody Rhodes was a special guest on ‘The Pivot Podcast‘, discussing the importance of The Phenom Undertaker’s role as a locker room leader in the WWE.

The American Nightmare stated that The Deadman was a judge for the entire locker room. He handled any problems in the locker room. Rhodes stated that he was an honest diplomat who had cared for the whole locker room for years. He is somebody to whom The Prodigal Son is exceptionally thankful for being a key part of his monumental win at WrestleMania 40.

“The Undertaker who’s kind of like what we would call the locker room leader he was the TR like the judge he was if there was a problem in the locker room a true and there’s more problems in the locker room than people realize on daily basis he’s the one to handle it and not in an old west type way he was actually incredibly honest diplomatic and it was about the betterment of the show betterment of the show which means betterment of everyone’s home life with their families more money for everybody so to have kind of the the sheriff the locker room leader be part of it I looked at it from the perspective of a lot of fans know that about him these days they know him as this luminary key figure not just the Phenom The Undertaker and that to me that felt like that was the one who was there that night the guy who took care of the locker rooms.”

The American Nightmare is riding a wave of momentum, as seen on WWE television programming. On the work front, the current Undisputed WWE Champion has accepted the challenge and will face Solo Sikoa at WWE SummerSlam 2024 in a blockbuster showdown.
