Bron Breakker has often been hailed as the future of the WWE. Since debuting on the main roster as part of WWE Draft 2024, Breakker has had one successful run and is already the prestigious WWE Intercontinental Championship on two separate occasions.
However, the former NXT Champion, who has been seen in the WWE television programming destroying his opponents since getting drafted to Monday Night RAW, was chasing a different career at one point in his life. Before becoming a WWE superstar, Bron was aiming to become an NFL player. Let us see if The Wolf Dog has become a better WWE Superstar or NFL player.
Is Bron Breakker Better NFL Player or WWE Superstar?
In an interview a few months ago, Bron Breakker revealed that before he became a WWE Superstar, he was working hard to become an NFL player. The reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion was even signed with the NFL Baltimore Ravens from April to August 2020 until they released him, and it was then that he decided to pursue a career in the WWE.
Breakker also revealed that his father, Rick Steiner, wanted him to keep training and pursue a football career. However, it was Bron who pushed for a professional wrestling career. He trained hard to become an NFL player, but COVID-19 and the fact that he did not receive the call to join the team after training proved disruptive in his plans to pursue a career in the NFL.
Even though Bron Breakker did not make it in the NFL, he is a bright example of a smooth transition to professional wrestling and has become one of WWE’s fastest-rising superstars in the modern era. Furthermore, Bron revealed that growing up, he always had an idea of how he was supposed to carry himself in the world of professional wrestling, which helped him adapt to the WWE quickly.
The WWE Universe should be grateful that Bron’s NFL career did not go quite the way his father, Rick Steiner, had envisioned because if it had, they would not have seen Bron Breakker’s greatness in a WWE ring. With his NFL career not going as planned and his WWE career fetching him worldwide success, it is safe to say that Breakker has done better as a WWE superstar.
