Cody Rhodes created history and won the Undisputed WWE Championship from The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns with much fanfare from the WWE Universe in the main event of WrestleMania 40. Ever since then, The American Nightmare has been working on his way to becoming a fighting champion defending against the likes of AJ Styles, and Logan Paul.

After feuding with The Bloodline for most of his career upon his mega return to the WWE at WrestleMania 38 from its rival promotion AEW and defeating Roman Reigns to win the title, The Prodigal Son once again finds himself against The Bloodline but this time against Solo Sikoa at WWE SummerSlam 2024.

In the absence of Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa has taken center stage and has crowned himself the new Tribal Chief for The Bloodline. Since positioning himself as the leader of the new Bloodline, Sikoa has started chasing Cody Rhodes and his Undisputed WWE Championship and has challenged The American Nightmare for the title at WWE SummerSlam 2024.

In the last few weeks on Friday Night SmackDown, WWE Universe has witnessed The Bloodline dominating the entire roster and has been taking out Cody Rhodes allies Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton. However, even with such a dominating showing in the WWE Television Programming, Solo Sikoa is not expected to win the title from Cody Rhdodes at WWE SummerSlam 2024 as WWE fans expect Rhodes to withstand another challenger in Sikoa at the Biggest Party of the Summer.

WWE will be hosting WWE SummerSlam 2024 this coming Saturday, August 4th, 2024 from Cleveland Browns Stadium, Ohio and is set to feature several blockbuster showdowns and is expected to be headlined by the match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed WWE title.
