The 38th annual Royal Rumble Premium Live Event is set to emanate from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indiana, Indianapolis. WWE Royal Rumble 2025 will take place on February 1st, 2025, marking the first Rumble event not to take place in January.
Royal Rumble PLE always has this element of surprise, as we do not know who might end up showing up in the Rumble match. We have seen legendary debuts such as AJ Styles and the Forbidden Door broken when the legendary Mickie James entered the Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2022 as the TNA Knockouts Champion. Now, with the brand-new partnership between TNA & WWE, let us see which TNA stars might end up appearing in the Royal Rumble matches at WWE Royal Rumble 2025.
1. Jordynne Grace
It is extremely hard to keep surprises a secret in the world of the professional wrestling industry, but WWE fans got a legitimate surprise last year at the Royal Rumble PLE. The entire WWE Universe was on its feet during the Women’s Royal Rumble match last year when Jordynne Grace shocked everyone and entered the match as the TNA Knockouts Champion.
No one had predicted TNA’s juggernaut would show up in the Women’s Royal match, but still shocking everyone in the process, Grace ended up appearing in the match, and this year, she is expected to repeat the history at WWE Royal Rumble 2025. With the TNA & WWE partnership and the number of appearances that Grace has made recently in NXT, she is heavily expected to be a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
2. Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler is one of the WWE veterans who was once thought to be a ‘WWE Lifer’. The company let him go in September 2023, ending a tenure of over 19 years, which shocked the entire WWE Universe. However, the WWE Universe might see him return to the company at WWE Royal Rumble 2025.
After his release from the WWE, Dolph Ziggler signed with TNA under the ring name Nic Nemeth. Dolph Ziggler is the current TNA World Champion, who won the title on July 20, 2024, at Slammiversary. With the new TNA-WWE partnership, WWE Universe could expect Dolph Ziggler to show up as Nic Nemeth in the Men’s Royal Rumble match at WWE Royal Rumble 2025.
3. Ash By Elegance
Hard work and perseverance will always bring opportunities knocking on your door if you do not quit on your dreams, and the same could be said for TNA’s ‘Ash By Elegance’, also popularly known as Dana Brooke to the WWE fans. Ash might return to the WWE at the WWE Royal Rumble 2025 in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
Ash has a lot of unfinished business in the WWE. She was released amidst a heated rivalry with Blair Davenport and had an alliance with Kelani Jordan in NXT, which abruptly ended upon her release. Ash was also seen at NXT Battleground 2024 and could make her return in the Women’s Royal Rumble match to show how far she has come in her career.
4. Joe Hendry
Say his name, and he appears. This might just happen at the WWE Royal Rumble 2025, as TNA’s most popular wrestling star, Joe Hendry, is heavily rumoured to make an appearance in the Men’s Royal Rumble match at the Lucas Oil Stadium on February 1st, 2025.
Joe Hendry’s first WWE appearance at NXT became a major hit on social media, which further led to a series of appearances from Hendry on NXT TV, including an NXT Championship match against the then-champion Ethan Page. Joe is one of the most popular wrestlers of the modern era and could appear at the WWE Royal Rumble 2025 under the new TNA & WWE partnership.
