WWE is all set to bring the 38th annual edition of Royal Rumble PLE on February 1st, 2025, from the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indiana, Indianapolis. WWE Royal Rumble 2025 will feature several of the company’s biggest stars from top to bottom and will look to make history when they throw the other superstars off the top rope to win the traditional Royal Rumble match.
Superstars from the Men’s and Women’s divisions look forward to making history by participating in the annual Royal Rumble matches, respectively. For the Men’s Royal Rumble match at WWE Royal Rumble 2025, Superstars such as John Cena, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk announced their participation in the match. Both Cena and Punk are heavy favourites to win the Men’s Rumble match, but the question to address is which superstar will actually clinch the win.
Who Stands a Better Chance to Win- John Cena or CM Punk at the WWE Royal Rumble 2025 show?
John Cena kicked off his ‘retirement tour’ on RAW’s debut episode on Netflix and hinted at winning his 17th World Title. However, he wanted to earn the opportunity and announced his entry in the Men’s Royal Rumble match at the WWE Royal Rumble 2025 event.
On the other hand, CM Punk has shown his desire to chase the World Title in his current run in the company. After finally putting away superstars like Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins in some of the most highly personal rivalries in recent memory, Punk has announced his entry in the Men’s Rumble match and looks forward to winning the match to challenge the champion of his choosing in the main event of WrestleMania 41.
Both John Cena and CM Punk are two of the biggest WWE Superstars of all time. They have long been known to be two of the biggest needle movers in the company and have different reasons for winning the match. Cena wants to chase his 17th World Title in his final WrestleMania match, and CM Punk wants to be able to win his first Royal Rumble match in his career to get close to his dream of main eventing WrestleMania.
Furthermore, both have very strong reasons to win the Royal Rumble match at WWE Royal Rumble 2025. Still, looking at it from a perspective that will be proven to be more groundbreaking and historic, and also according to the betting odds, Mr Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect John Cena is expected to win the Men’s Royal Rumble match to claim the World title opportunity at the Grandest Stage of them all this year.
With Royal Rumble still a few weeks away, it will be interesting to see if either will be able to get the job done or the WWE Universe might just witness a third name take all the glory.
