Wrestling fans are set to witness the WWE Royal Rumble 2025, which will take place on February 1st, 2025, at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indiana, Indianapolis. This event will mark the 38th annual instalment of Royal Rumble PLE, and just like every other year, this year’s event is expected to be full of surprises and incredible action in the ring.
Though fans have been witnessing the Men’s Royal Rumble match for all these years, it’s only since 2018 that WWE started hosting the Women’s Royal Rumble matches. It is safe to say that since then, women have been outshining the guys all these years and have been expected to do the same this year at the WWE Royal Rumble 2025 event.
WWE analysts and fans have begun to predict who might win the Women’s Royal Rumble match at WWE Royal Rumble 2025. Two heavy favourites who have been heavily rumoured to win the bout are Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, but who has more chances to win the battle this year is the question to address.
Who Stands a Better Chance to Win- Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch at WWE Royal Rumble 2025?
Charlotte Flair has not been seen on WWE TV in a long time. Her last appearance came in December 2023 during a match against Asuka, during which she got injured and has been inactive since then. Flair has been rumoured to be slated to face Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41, which makes her a strong contender to win the Royal Rumble match at WWE Royal Rumble 2025. Moreover, WWE confirmed Flair’s return via a vignette on the January 17 edition of SmackDown.
On the other hand, Becky Lynch has been rumoured to resurge on the scene in WWE soon. Rumours were that The Man was set to return to WWE RAW’s debut episode on Netflix, but that did not happen. Now, Big Time Becks is heavily expected to make her humongous return in the Women’s Rumble match at WWE Royal Rumble 2025 and has been expected to win the match to challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Title in a rematch from last year’s WrestleMania.
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have created their fair share of history in the Royal Rumble match. The Man won the Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2019, and The Queen won the Women’s Rumble match in 2020. With such stacked resumes, both these ladies stand another chance to create more history by becoming the first woman to win a Rumble match twice at WWE Royal Rumble 2025.
Furthermore, while Becky Lynch has been rumoured to face Rhea for the Women’s World Title, those plans have still not been set in stone. Meanwhile, more concurrent plans are put in motion for the eventual clash between Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41, which gives an edge to The Queen to take away the Royal Rumble victory at WWE Royal Rumble 2025.
With Royal Rumble still two weeks away, it will be interesting to see if either can get the job done, or the WWE Universe might just witness a third name take all the glory at the expense of both The Man and The Queen at WWE Royal Rumble 2025.
