WWE RAW on Netflix has been billed as one of the company’s marquee events. WWE officials have confirmed several reports that they are considering this event a ‘WrestleMania adjacent’, and fans should not expect anything less than a spectacle expected to blow the minds of the WWE Universe.
WWE RAW on Netflix is set to emanate from the Intuit Dome, Los Angeles, California, on January 6, 2025. The event is set to feature several WrestleMania-caliber matches and is expected to have several big returns like Becky Lynch & The Rock. However, as much as fans anticipate The Rock’s return, the landscape could look very much different if The Final Boss chooses not to comeback.
What If The Rock Does Not Return at the WWE RAW on Netflix debut event?
WWE RAW’s debut on Netflix will be one of the most high-profile events WWE has done in a while. With such a grand event taking place, WWE Universe expects returns from several big names, including The Rock. However, The Final Boss could throw a serve at the last moment by not showing up to the event.
The possibility that The Rock might not return to WWE RAW on Netflix might become a reality. There have been conflicting reports about The Rock’s status for WrestleMania 41. According to the new reports, The Final Boss has made it clear he does not want to do anything at this year’s WrestleMania as he wants the event to be all about John Cena.
Suppose The Rock won’t perform at WrestleMania 41. In that case, the probability of his return at WWE RAW on Netflix will become even slimmer as his return at the WWE RAW on Netflix event won’t serve any purpose since it then would be just any random appearance of the Final Boss, which he had already done at Bad Blood 2024. If The Rock doesn’t show up at the event, then WWE Universe might see the rumoured John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes match at The Showcase of Immortals.
