WWE’s Netflix debut will be a breath of fresh air for the entire WWE locker room and the fans. RAW’s debut on Netflix is all set to be a monumental occasion for the company, considering how wide its audience will be once it hits the OTT platform. WWE is all set to debut on the platform this coming Monday to make a major statement.
WWE Monday Night RAW will debut on Netflix on January 6, 2025. The event is slated to take place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California. With WWE diving into an all-new era with its debut on Netflix, let us see four possible female champions we can expect to see after the dawn of the WWE Netflix era.
1. Giulia
International sensation Giulia made her highly anticipated NXT debut when she confronted NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez after her successful title defence at NXT No Mercy 2024. Since then, it has been quite obvious that Giulia will dethrone Roxanne for the NXT Women’s Championship.
The Beautiful Madness challenged The Prodigy on NXT’s debut episode at the CW Network, however, a returning Cora Jade proved to be the spoiler in her plans as she cost Giulia her match against Perez. Giulia is set to face Roxanne for the title at NXT New Year’s Evil and could be the first new Women’s Champion in the WWE Netflix era.
2. Rhea Ripley
Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley—the entire women’s division revolved around these two names for the last nine months. Now, their rivalry is set to culminate on next week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, when the two will collide for the Women’s World Title on the first night of the WWE Netflix era.
Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan are all set to battle each other in what appears to be the final chapter of their rivalry on RAW’s debut episode on Netflix. Per the rumours and the betting odds, Ripley is expected to dethrone Morgan for the title, making her the first Women’s Champion in WWE Netflix’s era.
3. Tiffany Stratton
Time is running by, and Tiffany Stratton needs to find a way to cash in her Money in the Bank contract, which guarantees her a title match against the champion of her choosing anytime and anywhere. Stratton has tried to pull the trigger a gazillion times in the past but has always pulled herself back for one reason or another. Now might be the time to fully pull the trigger on this long-awaited cash-in that fans have been waiting for.
It has been months since Stratton teased her Money in the Bank contract; however, she still has not been able to get the job done. With WWE’s jump on Netflix, it might be the best time for The Buff Barbie of the WWE to pull the guns and cash in her contract to become the Women’s Champion in the WWE Netflix era.
4. Dakota Kai
‘Always the bridesmaid, never the bride’—unfortunately, that has always been the case with Dakota Kai. Her fellow Damage CTRL members have all seen their fair share of success as singles competitors; however, Kai has yet to see the same, and that might change once the global juggernaut moves into the WWE Netflix era.
Kai is set to battle Lyra Valkyria in the Inaugural WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament finals on the January 13, 2025 edition of Monday Night RAW. Dakota Kai is a heavy favourite to win the gold, and she could change her fortune just the next week after WWE Netflix begins.
