WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 is all set to hit our TV screens on March 1st, 2025, from the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The final stop on the road to WrestleMania, Elimination Chamber, will further reveal the challengers for the other top titles in the company who will challenge the champions at WrestleMania 41.
WWE has already announced that both Women’s & Men’s Elimination Chamber matches will be taking place at the event, but they haven’t announced anything for the rest of the card yet. It was a nice change to see when WWE Tag Titles were defended at Royal Rumble PLE which was for the first time that Tag Titles was defended on a PLE after WrestleMania 40. Now, WWE Universe has been wondering if they will get another Tag Title match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025.
Will Tag Titles Be Defended at the Event at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025?
Tag Team wrestling has taken a back seat in the last few years in the WWE. Though the Tag Titles headlined WrestleMania for the very first time in history two years ago, ever since The Usos lost their titles at WrestleMania 39, it feels the titles have lost their relevance since then and have been forgotten.
The WWE Tag Team Titles were defended at WrestleMania 40 in a ladder match, and the titles would then split up between two teams. Many in the WWE Universe expected that it would bring more opportunities for the titles, but it wasn’t the case, as the titles were not represented well throughout the year. After a gap of 10 months, one set of those titles was defended on a PLE at Royal Rumble last month. Now, WWE could continue these efforts by putting another Tag Title match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025.
The Tag Team division in the WWE has begun to heat up again, especially on Friday Night SmackDown. With the resurgence of Street Profits, the heel turn of DIY, the debut of MCMG, and the newfound push for The Pretty Deadly, the division appears to be on the right track.
The War Raiders and New Day have been keeping the pace right for the division on Monday Night RAW. Though it is not confirmed, it is expected that we will see a Tag Title match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025.
